A 30% discount is given for each additional figure included in the same painting. Prices vary according to size, additional figures, pets and elaborate backgrounds.  Shipping, sales tax and framing are not included.
Pet Portrait Fees $500-$2500 (price depends on size and medium, pastel or oil)

At the initial meeting the client's ideas about size, setting, clothing and personal characteristics will be discussed.   A contract with all specifications will be signed and 20% of the agreed upon commission will be collected at this time. The same day or at another scheduled meeting the artist will take digital photographs of the subject in various poses. The client and artist will choose a pose from a computer slide show that is appropriate for a successful portrait.  An oil color study will be done at this time or another selected time.  The overall session will last from 1-2 hours.  

The artist will return to her studio to do a preliminary color sketch. An additional meeting will be set up with the subject to make adjustments to the color sketch. This session will assist the artist with a more accurate color reference.   The comfort and pleasure of the sitter is given utmost consideration at all times. An additional 20% of the commission is collected at this time. It is customary for the artist to borrow clothing or items from the setting if necessary.  

The final portrait is begun in artist's studio. During the process the artist may call upon the client to pose for short sittings to assist in capturing the vitality and natural light of the subject from life. The final painting is presented to the client for approval and final payment is collected.
